La Tonkinoise a Paris

New in at Precious is a jewellery label with history, a story to tell and just the right touch of Parisian je ne sais quoi.

We are very excited to be stocking for the first time, La Tonkinoise a Paris.
Its designer previously worked at such esteemed brands such as Lanvin, Isabel Marant and Kookai before branching out on her to work her magic .

The result is a collection of completely  unique, handmade necklaces , which she describes as neo-vintage. The necklaces are artfully made from vintage trinkets ; such as grandfather watchfaces, crystals, coins and miniature toy soldiers ; sourced throughout Paris and put together, each telling a story of their own. The concept behind the brand is one of clashing worlds – old meets new, slightly grungy meets poetic beauty.

No two necklaces are the same, making each one unique to its wearer.
Precious particularly loves the Petites Mondes “Little World” necklaces- a simple circular band with delicate trinkets woven through.
